Most of employees are planning to resign their current jobs and find something better than current. They're doing just enough to receive their salaries, but they don't put in the time, skills, new ideas and effort to do their best work. Company lose huge profit per year because of unsatisfied employees. Because of replacing employees who quit their jobs costs, As a HR manager or any other supervisor, the best thing is making the necessary changes to keep your staff engaged and motivated.

Senior leaders should set an example of these behaviors by showing respect to others. Respect others through professional communication and internal policies that respect employees.

For example, if an organization intends to extend working hours by another hour, it should be respectfully inform to the employees, obtain ideas and suggestion, avoid employee problems and implement that decision in manner way.

 

2. Establish Trust with Senior Management.

A leader must win the trust of employees at all levels in a organization. Employees must also be able to trust their leader. If a leader works with full transparency, followers will gather around him. Doing what you say and saying what you do is a good leadership trait. Good communication also helps to the increase trust with employees. 

 

3. Expand job benefits. 

Creating an employee appreciation programs. It increase the self confidence of the employee. In addition, organization can arrange health care facility to the employee including his or her family, retirement plans, low rate bank loans, instant loan from organization and financial assistance for the death of close family member etc.

 

 4. Offer competitive compensation. 

Look at all aspects of your compensation strategy. Evaluate employee pay grades, health benefits, and retirement contributions to ensure your compensation package is competitive. Benchmark like jobs and work to keep salary ranges in line with similar jobs. If the recent regulation cuts have helped your business, share the benefit with employees by increasing their pay.

 

5. Foster job security.

Workers everywhere are now feeling relief from the recent recession that has made jobs feel insecure. Communicating with employees about the organization’s financial position, strategic goals and objectives, and overall performance, When the employees know that their leaders are doing well, they feel more job security.

 

6. Strengthen employee relationships.

Working peacefully with office assistants is also a key factor in maintaining employee satisfaction. There must be a collective to work together to solve a problem. Annual trip, Dinner dance events and collective training exercises can be organized to increase teamwork and understanding among employees.

It is imperative that leaders recognize and appreciate the contributions and achievements of employees. Making that appreciation public by the leader is another achievement of the employee. It affects the employee’s job performance.

Finally, many employee come to work to do good job, However, it is the corporate responsibility communicate to the employee clearly and effectively what the organization expects, providing the necessary tools, equipment and training and benefits for the achievements achieved. These human resource strategies can maintain a high level of employee satisfaction. Increasing employment and increasing corporate productivity ensure the stability of the organization.

  2. Good article Roshan. Job satisfaction is the key point of employee retention in the company. HRM always tries to employees satisfy, for that they implement more strategies. But the satisfaction level depends upon the employee's thinking. so that thinking patterns can't change easily for HRM.
